Sistine Episcopal Museum
Address Piazza Sisto V, 8, 63068 Montalto delle Marche AP
Description

Inaugurated in March 2002, the Sistine Episcopal Museum is located in Piazza Sisto V in the former seminary building and houses works of art from Montalto and the hamlets of Porchia and Patrignone, as well as numerous other valuable artifacts.

Currently, the museum is not open to visitors due to the building’s unavailability following recent seismic events. Restoration and renovation work is already underway and is expected to return the palace and its rich collection to the public in 2026.
