The Cerquatonna is a sessile oak over 300 years old, considered one of the most magnificent “green patriarchs” of the Marche region. The latest measurements recorded a trunk circumference of 5.20 meters and a height of 20 meters, while the oak’s canopy spans 26 meters in circumference. Its name, Cerquatonna (“round oak”), refers to the distinctive rounded shape of its trunk and crown. A symbol of longevity and natural beauty, it represents a significant point of interest for nature enthusiasts and those passionate about local history.
