Overlooking Piazza Bonfini and featuring a harmonious little loggia next to the town gate, it bears witness to the devotion to the Madonna of Reggio, introduced by Montalto’s 5th bishop, Mons. Girolamo Codebò (1645–1661), who was miraculously healed through his veneration of her image.
